(GREAT FALLS) Colleen Sue Lewis has been arrested on a felony charge of promoting prostitution in Great Falls.
According to a press release from Cascade County Sheriff Jesse Slaughter on Wednesday, Lewis was charged because she “purposely or knowingly owned, controlled, managed, supervised, resided in, or otherwise kept, alone or in association with others, a house of prostitution or a prostitution business.”
If convicted, Lewis could be fined up to $50,000, and/or be sentenced to up to 10 years in prison.
Lewis was arrested on Tuesday, July 30th, by detectives with the Internet Crimes Against Children task force.
Her arrest comes just days after five people were arrested on misdemeanor charges of soliciting prostitution. The five are Terry Francis McCann, 41; David Komesu Javner, 28; Kurt Alan Anderson, 50; Paul George Waldner, 48; and Mark William Brothers, 59.
Slaughter said that after McCann was arrested based on an ad she had placed online that says, “In or out call…I can be exciting like a ride or help u relax after the fair. Hour for price of half hour,” she told investigators that the Touch Of Klass massage business on Division Road was a “hoe shop” and that she and two other women worked there. She and the others kept a schedule and gave a portion of the money they earned to Lewis, who according to Slaughter is the owner/operator of Touch Of Klass, and also uses the names Colleen Brown and/or Colleen Counts.
McCann said that the business charged $40 per visit on top of the normal rates, and a $60 fee for out-calls. McCann told detectives that Lewis took over the business after her sister left.
Deputies executed a search warrant at the Touch Of Klass and recovered used condoms in each room, along with baby powder and lotion in several locations. They also found a number of pink waste-basket type bags labelled “out call bags” inside a supply cupboard in a kitchen area. Inside the bags were materials commonly known to be carried by prostitutes, including condoms.
Additionally, deputies found prices and schedules documenting visits by various “Johns” (customers) and the amounts charged. Deputies also found receipts for the purchase of items commonly carried by prostitutes, including condoms, lubricants, and lingerie items. A search through the trash outside the business led to the recovery of further hand receipts documenting visits by various “Johns,” as well as lotion and used condoms.

In an interview, during which she voluntarily waived her Miranda rights and agreed to talk with a detective, Lewis admitted that she conducted business via her cell phone with McCann and another co-conspirator. She also conducted business via Facebook Messenger from her cell phone. According to Slaughter, Lewis admitted running the massage parlor since 2007, and she estimated she had made more than $10,000 in profits from the business.
She admitted having knowledge that the business was used for prostitution, and said she took over the business in 2007, and in examining her Facebook account, the detective noted that it had been created in 2013. Lewis said that a co-conspirator had only been working at the Touch Of Klass for approximately eight months. Investigators are seeking Facebook records for Lewis dating back to 2013, as she has been running the Touch Of Klass from 2013 to present.
